Clarendon Hills is a village located in DuPage County, Illinois. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 7,610. The village has a total area of 1.7 square miles.

Clarendon Hills is located 22 miles southwest of the Chicago "Loop". Several major interstates and highways are accessible from the area, including Route 83, I-88, I-55, I-290 and I-294. Both O’Hare and Midway airports are within 15 miles of Clarendon Hills. The village is adjacent to a high-tech research corridor that includes Fermi Lab and Argonne National Laboratory. Neighboring cities include Westmont, Hinsdale, and Willowbrook.

METRA commuter rail service has stops in Clarendon Hills for travel to the Chicago "Loop". Train service to Union Station in downtown Chicago is available daily through the Metra Burlington Northern rail line.
