The village is bordered by
Thornton to the north, Lynwood to the east, Chicago Heights & Ford Heights to the south and Homewood to the west.

The condo/townhouse market had 30 sales, down from the 52 properties that sold in 2006. Sales prices saw a decrease with the average 2007 sales price at $87,162.00, compared to $103,904.00 in 2006. Marketing times were an average of 103 days on the market, up over the 2006 average of 52 days.

There are 14 active listings of attached homes in the MLS. Based on the 2007 level of absorption this is 5.60 months of unsold inventory.

The condo/townhouse market is over supplied, sales volume was down -42.30%, average sales price declined -16.11%, and the days on the market were up +98.07%. The 14 active MLS listings have already been on the market an average of 131 days.
